Help Nakiah get an Insulin Pump

So its been 15 weeks now since diagnosis. Nakiah was drinking 2-3 litres of water a day and her nappies were wetter than usual. Nakiah is a happy child who always runs around. After reading on-line that these symptoms can be a sign of diabetes and with type 2 in the family, Annalyse decided to go doctors and get a blood test. At about midnight that night, she woke up to police officers knocking the door down, telling her that the ambulance is on the way for Nakiah. That was a scary experience.
Their GP had called with her blood glucose levels and was so afraid because they were as high as 30.
They were rushed to hospital and spent 4 days there on insulin and constant monitoring.
After being poked and proded at hospital, Annalyse and B getting loads and loads of information about how to treat type 1 as well as lessons on what Nakiah can eat and how much, then they ventured home. Nakiah is at a new daycare happy and playing around like a normal kid. She is eating pretty much everything she normally would minus the fatty foods and sugary drinks and lollies.
She is on 5 needles a day to control her glucose levels. Soon they will be getting a glucose monitoring machine which allows them to miss the constant daily fingerpricks and rely on the machine.
We would love Nakiah to be able to receive an Insulin Pump but the cost of this can be up to $9500 just for the pump. This pump stops Nakiah needing to be jabbed 5 times a day with insulin from a needle into her tender little skin and allows the insulin to be injected through the pump and stops to use of needles. As this will be something Nakiah will need to do for the rest of her life, this pump would save alot of tears and heartache for Annalyse. Please help me help her!
