Here is a message from Naji to everyone who is reading this:</div><div><br></div><div>“Hi, My Name is Naji, I am 34 from Gaza, few weeks ago our family house was bombed by the IDF leaving me and my family with nothing, this is the second time our house get bombed in a war, as the 1st time was in 2014. My mum and dad are currently with my sister and her family and 70 others. Myself and my brother are sleeping on the streets. It is becoming very challenging to survive and my disability is making it even more challenging for me, in 2007 I lost my leg in an Israeli bombing and ever since my life has changed so much and I had to overcome so many challenges in life. I lived 4 wars prior to this one and I miraculously managed to survive.</div><div><br></div><div>A little bit about what I have done to cope with the situation after losing my leg: I am an athlete who advocates for a better life for people with disabilities in the Gaza strip, I founded the Gaza Cyclist team for people with disabilities, were I competed locally and internationally when possible. Human rights advocate, I am a feminist who is fighting for better equalities for the women of Gaza.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>I need the help to get out to seek medical treatment and safety for me and my family, I am fully aware that the amount seems like a lot, it is a lot but here is a breakdown so you are aware of the difficulties of our situation, it costs 10000$ for each individual to be able to leave through the Rafah crossing to get into Egypt, that is 40000$ just for us 4. As I mentioned we have lost everything, the extra bit of help is to help us survive until we figure out what we can do next. Please keep us in your prayers and share my story for the world to know that Naji did everything he can to help others and himself to overcome this genocide.”</div><div><br></div><div>If you are reading this and you can’t donate, that is okay and I don’t want you to feel like you have to, but if you can every £ helps even if it was £1, I am still going to appreciate and thank you for it.</div><div><br></div><div>With much love,</div><div>Naji</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
