<div>My name is Nadir Khattab, I'm 20 years old and I live in Gaza. Since October 7th, I've been living through one of the most terrifying periods of my life. Before that date, I was a student at Al-Azhar University in Gaza studying audiovisual design and production, I ran a small menswear business and I regularly took part in charity work fand help people in need here.

<div>The ongoing war in Gaza since October 7th has put an end to my studies, and the bombardments have destroyed my business.

<div>This war and genocide have destroyed my dreams and those of my family. We live in constant fear and the Israeli occupation army has forced us to leave our homes and move several times. Our house, which once housed all the members (7) of my family, has been destroyed by the bombardments. The bombardments have also wiped out all the hospitals, and medical care in Gaza is non-existent. I've been suffering from an injury to my knee for several years now, and can no longer treat it.

<div>My family and I now live in a tent in the heart of a refugee camp where basic necessities are non-existent, and where there is no water, food or sanitation. The situation I'm living in today with my family is extremely difficult.

<div>The intense bombardments that kill people every day in Gaza terrify me. I don't want to die, I don't want my turn to come and yet I could be killed at any moment. It breaks my heart not to be able to help my family.

<div>The cost of leaving Gaza from the Rafah border crossing has risen since the start of the war. A person leaving now has to pay $5,000. The money accumulated in this GoFundMe account will be sent to my family living in Qatar via a friend living in France.

<div>Cette guerre et ce génocide ont détruit mes rêves et ceux de ma famille. Nous vivons dans une peur continue et l’armée d’occupation israélienne nous a forcé à quitter notre domicile et à nous déplacer à plusieurs reprises. Notre maison, qui autrefois accueillait tous les membres de ma famille (7), a été complètement détruite par les bombardements. Ces derniers ont également réduit à néant tous les hôpitaux et les soins à Gaza sont quasiment inexistants. Souffrant d’une blessure à mon genou depuis plusieurs années, je ne peux désormais plus me soigner.

<div>Ma famille et moi vivons aujourd’hui dans une tente au coeur d’un camp de réfugiés au sein duquel les produits de premières nécessités sont inexistants et ou il n’y a ni eau, ni nourriture ni système d’assainissement. La situation que je vis aujourd’hui avec ma famille est extrêmement difficile.

<div>Les intenses bombardements qui tuent des personnes chaque jours à Gaza me terrifient. Je ne veux pas mourir, je ne veux pas que mon tour arrive et pourtant je peux être tué à n’importe quel moment. J’ai le coeur brisé de ne pas pouvoir aider les miens.

<div>Les prix pour quitter Gaza depuis le poste frontière de Rafah ont augmenté depuis le début de la guerre. Désormais une personne sortante doit régler la somme de 5000$. La somme accumulée dans cette cagnotte sera transmise à ma famille vivant au Qatar par le biais d’une amie vivant en France.
