Hope you are all well. We're writing to ask for your help.

2020 has been an odd one for our band SLYJYNX... After 6 months of rehearsals preparing for our first gigs, Boris announced that all live music/art would cease to exist for the foreseeable future. So, we decided to focus on recording instead... Since June we have released 3 singles and our debut 'SAME SIGNS' was picked as a BBC Music Introducing's 'Track of the Day' on 21.09.20.

Our latest track 'HELP MYSELF' (released 16.10.20) has been warmly received and covered by various online music blogs.

HELP MYSELF by SLYJYNX 

We have loved releasing music and we hope that you have enjoyed what we've put out so far. We've been wanting to do a music video for some time and creatively this would be the next step up for us as a band. It would also help to spread our music to a wider audience. We would love to invite you to to become part of this journey with us.

THE IDEA
HELP MYSELF is about temptation, love and lust.

We want to tell the story of an unspectacular couple caught in a spectacular relationship. A relationship that, on the outside, appears unconventional and almost hurtful but to them is all they’ve ever known and all they ever need.

LOOK & FEEL
This music video will be highly cinematic, with rich colours and dynamic camera movements that hit every beat and note in the track.


We are fortunate enough to have friends/band members that have expertise in cinematography and directing, so have pulled in favors from wherever we can. On top of this we are all putting in as much of our own money we can afford, only to find out that our efforts still come up a little bit sort... 

Essentially, it is just the cost of hiring camera equipment we'd like to ask for help with. We of course understand that times are tough at the moment, and that bills/rent have to come first... However if you would like to support us and help us make this video happen we'd be eternally grateful! Even just a few quid will help us along our way.
