HELP My Tenants Recover from Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Christopher. My tenants lost their homes and most of their belongings due to historic flooding from Hurricane Helene. I am raising funds to help them recover and get back on their feet after this tragic event.
The funds raised through this campaign will go to these 5 amazing humans to help them recover from the devastation.
Before the flood, they had created beautiful homes including lush gardens where they were growing food, herbs and flowers. They were keeping bees and chickens, and miraculously a few of the chickens survived. They were the best tenants ever.

Audrey is a 2023 graduate of Warren Wilson College and works at Red Scout Farm in Black Mountain. She has lovingly tended the land at her home and has been growing vegetables and herbs. She has also been caring for chickens and bees, whom she grieves the loss of. She especially loves cooking and sharing elaborate meals with food from her garden.

He says that living on the land has been a true blessing where he was able to deepen his understanding and connection with plants, himself, and all of his artistic output. He just started working at Verner Center for Early Learning in East Asheville.
