UPDATE:

We had to get Mia into surgery today May 16th or she wouldnt have made it threw the weekend.

The antibiotics weren't helping and her cervix was closing which could have burst.

She is home now and recovering

the next 48 hours are gonna be tough.

Even tho the vet is working with me I still need your help and support to pay... the total is $4600.

Thankfully not the full $6000 as predicted.

STORY:

Hello my name is Jodi, it is with a heavy and humbled heart that I need to ask for any kind of help with this. My sweet baby girl Mia has come down with a life threatening infection called Pyometra (pus is the uterus).

She has been a very big part of our family for almost 8 year. Biggest suck that just loves everyone, anyone that has met her falls in love with her. She has a quirky personality that just melts your heart.

It's been a tough week trying to come up

th a plan of treatment and action plan. We are trying to fight infection with antibiotics as

he is draining the the infection (thankfully). If that is successful then we will need to have her fixe

to prevent this from happening again after he

next heat, which will

be about $3000. That being said she's being difficult to take meds as she isn't eating. We are trying our best tho. If the meds are unsuccessful we will need to do more emergency surgery and cost could be up to $6000.
