<div>Hi everyone,

</div>

<div>My name is Carlos, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my little sister. Almost two years ago, our family went through something we never expected. My sister was shot while simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She survived — thank God — but it changed her life in ways we’re still dealing with today.

</div>

<div>Emergency surgery saved her life, but it left a large, severe scar across her abdominal area. At the time, we were all just grateful she was alive. We focused on the immediate recovery, not realizing how deeply this scar would affect her long-term.

</div>

<div>As a growing young girl, the last two years have been incredibly hard on her.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This scar has become a source of:

</div>

<div>Deep self-consciousness.

</div>

<div>Depression and anxiety.

</div>

<div>Withdrawal from friends and social and emotional situations.

</div>

<div>Emotional distress every time she looks in the mirror.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>She carries the physical reminder of a trauma she didn’t choose — and it’s been taking a toll on her mental and emotional health. As her big brother, it’s reached the point where I can’t just watch her struggle anymore. It’s time for me to help.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are raising funds for:

</div>

<div>Scar revision / reconstructive procedures.

</div>

<div>Specialized dermatology treatments.

</div>

<div>Therapy and emotional support resources.

</div>

<div>Additional healing and recovery expenses not covered by insurance.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Even though she's not so little anymore, she will always be my baby sister and she deserves to feel beautiful and confident again. She deserves to feel like herself again. She deserves healing — both physically and emotionally.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you’re able to donate, share, or simply send love her way, our family would be truly grateful. Every contribution helps and brings her one step closer to feeling whole again.

</div>

<div>Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting her healing journey.

</div>

<div>Hola a todos,

</div>

</div>

</div>

</div>

</div>

</div>

<div>Mucha inseguridad

</div>

<div>Depresión y ansiedad

</div>

</div>

<div>Alejarse de amigos y situaciones sociales

</div>

</div>

</div>

<div>Estamos recaudando fondos para:

</div>

</div>

<div>Tratamientos dermatológicos especializados

</div>

<div>Terapia o recursos de apoyo emocional

</div>

</div>

<div>Ella merece volver a sentirse segura. Merece volver a sentirse como ella misma. Merece sanar — tanto física como emocionalmente.

</div>

</div>
