Help My Sister & I Move Somewhere

My name is Laura Willson and I am 22 years old. I am currently living in an unsafe environment with my 19 year old sister. My younger siblings and mom are currently living in a shelter because it is not safe for them to live with our father. Since my sister and I are of age, we decided to stay with our father because we are not mentally stable to live in a shelter. We will no longer qualify to live in the 5 bedroom apartment (in NYCHA) that we currently live in because there are only 3 people living in a 5 bedroom apartment, which does not comply with the guidelines of NYCHA. My younger sister and I DO NOT feel safe AT ALL living with our father, but our mental health is also important.

As a result of this situation, my 19 year old sister was recently hospitalized because she wanted to kill herself. I am REALLY afraid of losing her, and I am VERY concerned about her safety and mental health. She is the only family I have right now, and I cannot afford to lose my sister. It WILL truly break my heart if anything happens to her. I want the best for her and the best for the both of us. She is currently a freshman in college, and she has so much ahead of herself as well as so much to look forward to that it will be heartbreaking for her to end her life. I am trying my very best to stay strong and positive for the both of us, but mostly for her.

We are asking for this amount of money because we live in NYC and it is NOT AT ALL affordable to live on our own without working full-time. I am a student at Hunter College, and I attend school full-time, so I can only work part-time. My 19 year old sister is also a full-time student and working part-time. So, please, we are asking for help during this VERY difficult time. Any amount of money helps and we greatly appreciate every donation.
