Help my sis Deborah & her family recover from fire

My name is Sharisse Grannan and I'm from Chicago. On Wednesday evening, December 4, my sister and her partner Tyson got a call that their house in Galveston was on fire. Not only have they lost essentially everything they owned in the fire, they also lost their precious dog, Jack, to smoke inhalation. We are so thankful that Deborah, Tyson, and Olivia, her daughter, were away from the house and were not injured in any way.

The Red Cross has provided a small amount for them to stay in a hotel for a short period, but as you can imagine, their need is great. Recently, Deborah, along with many of her colleagues, was laid off her job due to a company take-over. She will have to continue looking for employment while being without a home and without almost anything. Your contribution will go towards a down payment on a new apartment, apartment furnishings, and clothes (including those needed for interviewing). I put the goal of $2,500, but you can imagine they may need more. Their needs are immediate. I have arranged this campaign so that Deborah will be able to withdraw the funds directly. Let's help get them back on their feet!
