Hello. My name is Kit (aliases as I do not wish to dox myself) and I am fundraising in order to help my boyfriend escape his home and country. He lives in Brunei Darussalam which is an insanely shallow, small and homophobic country. As an ex-muslim trans man, it simply isn't safe for him there or anywhere. We'd love to get him over to Australia where we can support him safely. We are working towards a Partner Visa but that costs upwards of AUD$11K; not to mention fee charges, flights and visitor visas. Fortunately, I've just gotten my first job but we are both disabled so paychecks and disability payments can only get us so far. Anything helps. Thank you all so much.
