My family has just gone through one of the most difficult times we’ve ever faced. My mom spent 40 days in the hospital battling heart failure, and during that time, she had an LVAD installed to help her heart function. After weeks of uncertainty and worry, we are so grateful that she was finally able to come home yesterday. Throughout her hospital stay, my dad stayed by her side, living in a hotel near the hospital in Cleveland so he could be there for her every day. The cost of the hotel, combined with their regular bills and the mounting medical expenses, has become more than they can manage on their own.

 We are reaching out for help because these unexpected costs have put a huge strain on my parents. The funds raised will go directly toward covering the hotel expenses from my dad’s stay and the medical bills from my mom’s treatment. This support will help ease their financial burden and allow them to focus on my mom’s recovery and getting back to a sense of normalcy at home. Every bit of help, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference for our family during this challenging time.
