Hi, my name is Jani, and I’m raising funds to help my parents after Hurricane Milton destroyed their only home in Venice, Florida. Their mobile home suffered severe damage, and, unfortunately, they don’t have insurance to cover the repairs. 
 
My parents are both older and have faced many challenges in recent years. My dad is now disabled, and my mom works a basic wage job as a front desk receptionist at an eye shop. Despite this, they’ve always found ways to give back, regularly volunteering at their local church. Now, they need help themselves to rebuild what’s been lost. 
 
On top of their financial struggles, my dad has a bad back, and my mom is still recovering from a serious accident where she was hit by a car, leaving her unable to lift one of her arms past her shoulder. Their beloved bunny, Pepper, has been a source of comfort during these tough times, but the home they all rely on is in critical condition.
