My parents, Jerry and Chandra Middleton had their world turned upside down when their house caught fire. In a matter of hours, they lost almost everything they owned—including their two beloved dogs. The fire destroyed their belongings, and what wasn’t burned was left damaged by smoke. It’s hard to put into words how much they’ve lost, from the essentials like clothes and shoes to the irreplaceable memories and comfort of their home.

 Right now, my parents are facing the overwhelming task of starting over. They have no clothes, toiletries, shoes, or furniture. Even the little things—antiques, toys, and keepsakes—are gone. The funds raised here will help them cover their most urgent needs and begin the long process of rebuilding their lives. Every bit of support will make a real difference as they try to recover from this tragedy.
