I am Naveen based in UK. Today, I’m reaching out to ask for your kindness and generosity in helping my 4-year-old nephew, Nael, who lives in the UAE. Nael is a bright and loving child, but he struggles significantly with speech and language development.

During his time in school, Nael faced challenges communicating with his peers and teachers and struggled to understand even basic instructions. These difficulties left him feeling isolated in an environment that should have been nurturing and joyful. Unfortunately, due to his father’s job loss, Nael had to leave school, and his much-needed therapy was delayed.

The financial strain has been overwhelming for Nael’s family. His father was unemployed for seven long months and only recently secured a job. However, they are now burdened with debt, making it nearly impossible to afford Nael’s therapy sessions. This delay has only widened the gap for Nael and he remains unable to communicate effectively, leaving him unable to express his thoughts, needs, and dreams like other children of his age.

Nael requires a minimum of four speech and language therapy sessions per week for up to five months, as recommended by specialists. Each session in the UAE costs between £60 and £80, making the total cost daunting for his family. Despite these challenges, Nael’s father remains determined to give his son the support he needs to speak, thrive, and one day return to school as a confident, happy child.

While we are reaching out for financial help, I want to humbly emphasize that we are not seeking charity or zakaat donations.
