Help my Mum to dance at my wedding!

Hello, firstly thank you for taking the time to read this page. My name is Danielle and I am fundraising to help my wonderful Mum, Lorraine Adams, as she so desperately needs two new knee replacements. Unfortunately due to the pandemic she has been placed on and off the waiting list three times, and this year has experienced many set backs with the NHS. It is now time for me to step up and try and raise some funds towards her being about to get at least one of her knees done privately.
Myself and my partner are getting married in September 2025 and it is our dream to see my Mum up and on the dance floor enjoying our special day.
To give you the background, in December 1999 my Mum and I were in a horrific car accidents which left her trapped in the car when a piece of metal came out of the steering wheel causing an open dislocation to her ankle. Her knees were also shunted on impact, here began her terrible ordeal with chronic pain which she has suffered from ever since.
Fast forward to 2014 and whilst taking my late Grandad food shopping own Saturday morning and unbeknownst to her walks down an aisle where there is a pool of water. Unfortunately there was no ‘Wet Floor’ sign on display and she fell face first and once again onto her knees.
Since 2018 she has had a number of falls, including being in the garden for over an hour when she was unable to get up and not able to notify anyone. As a family we have installed a number of cameras around her home in order to keep an eye on her and check she is safe, especially now she lives alone.
She is registered disabled and has recently been forced to get an automatic car to try and give her some light relief, however enough is enough and I cannot sit by any longer and see her in this pain, so this is my way of seeing if I can get her some help in some way!
In the past year she has lost 10 and a half stone in order for the NHS to complete the surgery but as a family we cannot sit and wait any longer.
Having done a very small amount of research the surgery will cost in the region of £15,000. Although much more research is needed which will happen over the next couple of weeks so that we have a clearer picture on costings and how to get the ball rolling.
To anyone who is able to donate in any way, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, you have no idea how much this means to us as a family.
I am going to sit and wrack my brains on how to also do some of my own fundraising, so watch this space.
