<div>My loving mum, Edith <span>Conlon, has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of advanced breast cancer.</span>

<div>As a family, we are doing everything we can to stay strong and focus on hope. Her doctors have recommended a treatment called Enhertu - a chemotherapy drug that could double her life expectancy.

<div>Here comes the difficult part … this treatment is not currently funded by the NHS. Each session costs around £8,000, with a full course of treatment reaching approximately £100,000. It’s a figure we never imagined facing, and one we simply cannot manage alone.

<div>Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards giving my mum access to this treatment - and with it, more time, more memories, and more moments we are not ready to lose. Without Enhertu, our options are limited.

<div>My mum is the heart of our family. She is the most selfless, caring person I know, always putting others before herself, always showing kindness, strength, and laughter, even in the most painful times of her illness. Now it’s our turn to fight for her.

<div>In June, I will be running Race for Life in her honour. I’ll be carrying her strength with me every step of the way, and I refuse to give up hope just yet.
