Help My Momma Survive and Thrive

Hello hello! I’ve never done of these before, so please forgive me if I miss some formalities. My wonderful mother has had not such a wonderful go at life. Her struggles started long before she can even remember. Without going into detail, she was betrayed in the worst way possible by her own father her entire childhood. But you would likely not know this if you met her today. Her light can shine through any room. She has fought so hard to heal and grow and I am just so proud of where she is today. I was able to help her relocate to my current city last year and she has been so happy in her new home. Unfortunately at the end of last year she caught Covid and missed work, putting her behind on rent and being threatened with eviction. She’s 62 years old and I absolutely hate the idea of her being thrown out of her home, but unfortunately I do not have funds to help as I am a single momma myself. She has tried any funding resource she can find to no avail. With a life lacking of very many “breaks,” I thought I see if we could give her a break with this. If anyone has the ability to help, our gratitude would be endless. I’ll end with a note from her, and sending blessings out to all that read this.

“I had to miss work several months ago because of Covid and issues relating. I have never been able to catch up. I've gotten behind on my rent. I owe 1300 in rent and now there are fees. Last Monday my landlord said that I had 3 days to come up with the money. I have pleaded with her to give me more time. Her reply was to give her the name of an agency that can help me quickly. I'm so very sorry. I never thought I would be here.”
