I am asking for help for my Mother and other family who were affected by hurricane Maria. Thankfully my mother is ok however, her house is a total loss. My mother has always been there to help others even when she didn’t have much to spare. Now it is our turn to help her out. She is currently staying with family in Ponce, Puerto Rico until further notice. She is trying to make the best out of her situation along with my other family. They have no electricity at this time and limited supply of food and water, which requires hours of standing in line for the simple necessities. My mother has always provided for me and my siblings with the little she ever had. She is a strong woman who has been there to help with her aging siblings along with being there for others. She worked two jobs and raised us 7 kids as a single mom. Now the only thing I can think of to help her, my aunts and other family, in this great time of need is to raise money to help her and my family to rebuild their home in Ponce and other areas of Puerto Rico.
