 I’m reaching out to ask for help during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for my family. My mom recently suffered a heart attack and had to undergo <strong>open-heart surgery</strong>. Thankfully, doctors were able to treat her, and we are incredibly grateful that she made it through the surgery. ❤️

 Now comes the long road of recovery. My mom is the <strong>sole provider for my household</strong>, and because of her surgery, she will not be able to work for approximately <strong>six months</strong> while she recovers and gets her strength back. I also live with <strong>spinal muscular atrophy type 2 and use a wheelchair</strong>, so my mom plays an extremely important role in our household and in my day-to-day life. With her unable to work, we are facing a difficult period financially while still needing to keep up with our everyday household expenses.

 We are hoping to raise <strong>$20,000 over the next six months</strong> to help us stay financially stable while my mom focuses on healing.
