Last sunday Portugal was affected by the worst wildfires ever. Me and my Mom tried to save our house with the few resources that we had. At some point we were surrounded by the fire we only had time to take our dog and escape. Leaving everything behind. The most frustrating moment from our lives.

I'm João Simões and I'm trying to help my mom, Helena Martins, to raise our house again. We are from Fiais, Vouzela, a small village from Portugal.
