A few weeks later with this on her mind she received a call from who she was told was Canadian Boarder Security. They knew things about my mom most scammers won't. She asked for proof it was real. She received a call from the number for Calgary City Police. She has a news story on it through Global Calgary. My mom is the type that would give you the shirt off her back. She would have never fallen for this if she wasn't in a really bad spot and so distracted with the stress of her medical condition. I want to help with the stress of this financial burden. Every penny will help. Hopefully they police can catch these people, but the chance of her getting that money back is slim. So please help out. It would be so greatly appreciated. It's easy to say you'd never fall for it. We've all said that. Until it happens to you when your not in your right mind.
