Help my mom get back on wheels

Recently it feels my family has faced some hard times. I am not one to ever ask for help, but my mom was recently in an accident with a metro bus and as we thought this case would be easily resolved since it involves the city we thought wrong. This case will take up to 2 years possibly to pay off anything at all. Her insurance is not offering her a rental or much help at all. My mom is the head of her household and has to travel a distance to get to work to pay for her rent, food, medical bills etc. I worked my ass off to get my mom reliable transportation to get to work so that I could relieve her of some extra stress. This breaks my heart and as I am also trying to find a consistent money flow with work as anyone in the bar industry has to at times it has made it harder to help my mom with this issue. I am afraid if this stress overcomes her old medical issues will resurface. Anything helps and is appreciated.
