My mom, Julie, was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer early last year. Since then, she has undergone five major surgeries, multiple medical procedures, and grueling rounds of treatment, and as a result, has been unable to work. After a brief remission, the cancer returned in July 2024, and she is now undergoing chemotherapy.
