<div>My mom Gene, is currently in the ICU Las Pinas Doctors Hospital in the Philippines fighting diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious and potentially life-threatening complication of diabetes.

<div>This has been an incredibly frightening and difficult time for our family. She needs urgent medical care, monitoring, medications, insulin, laboratory tests, and hospitalization. The costs are adding up quickly, and we are doing everything we can to make sure she receives the treatment she needs.

<div>I am currently in Canada, while my mom is in the Philippines, and I am trying to raise funds to help cover her medical expenses.
