Help my mom fight cancer (again)

As most of you know, my mom is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most selfless person i have met in my life. She is the type of person who immediately thinks about how she can help others before she considers her own needs. Now it’s our turn. She recently had a mass removed which tested positive for Melanoma. This will be the second time in her life she has received a diagnosis of Melanoma. She will have surgery on Tuesday, 10/27/20, to remove more tissue in addition to other tests and scans to assess how we move forward. This diagnosis comes on top of other medical issues including two other types of skin cancer (that were not as serious). Although she has insurance, her deductible is insanely high and there is a likelihood her insurance will not cover everything due to her diagnosis being considered as a pre-existing condition. The medical bills have already started to pile up, and we want her to continue with any current or future treatment needed so she can continue a fulfilling and long life watching her grandchildren grow up. Anything helps and our family is truly grateful. As we find out more, we will do our best to keep everyone updated.
