<div><strong>My mom is 51 years old and still has so much life to live. This is why I am reaching out to you in the hopes that you can help us.</strong> I am dedicating this page to show you that my mother is full of love and compassion and wants to continue to live to spend time with her loved ones. She is a caring and full-of-life human being, a mother, partner, daughter, and dear friend to so many. <strong>Bernice Hall is battling idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), which has taken a great toll on her everyday life, not only physically but mentally and emotionally. </strong>This disease has a life expectancy of 3-5 years, and my mom is into her 4th year. She is currently on the waitlist for a double lung transplant in Toronto.

<div>While she endures this horrific situation, she will be waiting positively in Toronto. <strong>We, her army of friends and supporters, need to raise much-needed funds for a place for her to stay while she waits for her gift of life. </strong>As we all know, this is not only devastating to one's mental health; it is also negatively impacting one's financial situation. She only has one small income, and it is almost depleted.
