My names Cheyenne Bernard. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My mom, Monica Bernard, a mother of 4, and a former dedicated EMT who has spent years serving the community, was diagnosed with stomach cancer on Monday. This Friday, she needed an emergency biopsy to determine the next steps for her treatment, but ARA Diagnostics Imagining requires the $2,500 insurance deductible upfront—something we simply can’t afford. A payment plan is not possible and we are lacking credit to receive a loan.

My mom has always been a fighter. In 2012, she survived a major heart attack, forcing her to stop pursuing her dream of saving lives, but now she’s facing yet another battle. She spent years working as an EMT for CVPH in Plattsburgh, NY and volunteering with the Mooers Volunteer Fire Department before settling down in Round Rock, always putting others before herself. Now, she needs our help.
