Make Mama Smile Again

I am not one to ever ask for help, I try to do as much my self as I can. I try to go out of my way to be the person giving the helping hand. Traits I got from my mom, who at this time is very much in need of some help.
As many of you, who know my My Mom, Kathy Foster-Hill (aka Mama Red), she is almost always smiling! Lately I notice that she tries to hide her smile.
As a child, mama was sick a lot, and received high doses of steroids and antibiotics. Her dentists have said that has caused weak, and brittle teeth. Over the course of the last few years, and losing her dental insurance, my moms had several teeth pulled and the rest have started to disintegrate and are falling out in pieces. She has been dealing with constant pain and numerous infections. Add in the stress of having to pay out of pocket for the emergency room visits each time, and feeling self-conscious when she looks at her mouth, I haven't seen her smile in way too long.
She is my son's FAVORITE person in the world, and I would love nothing more than for them to be able to capture precious moments of their times together. But because she is so ashamed of what she cannot control, she refuses to smile for any camera.
The damage is too severe to fix at this point, so the only option left to stop the pain is to have the rest of her teeth surgically removed and get dentures. We have researched these options endlessly, and we have found that the best option for her, would be a Denture Care Plan, that would cover all future problems that may arise with the process. However, in order to do that; we have to pay $3000 up front. My mom is not at a place where that is finacially possible. Me being a stay at home mom, I am not able to help her like I very much so wish I could.
