Help my LGBTQ Wellness Studio Survive

Hi friends! This is incredibly difficult for me, but I have started this GoFundMe for my small business, Amplio Fitness
Amplio FItness is an LGBTQ wellness studio that I started a little over a year ago. My mission was to create a safe space for marginalized identities to come safely and confidently explore wellness services (personal training, nutrition coaching, reiki, yoga, etc.). Amplio focuses on providing personal and supportive coaching within a carefully cultivated LGBTQ-affirming and body positive environment. For many people, it’s a vital resource where they can explore their bodies and what wellness means to them.
We specifically aim to address the disparity that the Transgender/Gender Non-conforming community faces when it comes to fitness/wellness. The lack of education and inclusive policies makes it very inaccessible to these individuals. Harassment in locker rooms, lack of/misinformation about the Trans/GNC identity, and a lack of empathy for these varying experiences can make fitness services extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. It i important that Amplio addresses these gaps in care in order to provide the Trans/GNC community with safe, practical, and affirming services.
It can be incredibly difficult to experiment with fitness services and physical activity because of anxiety/self-consciousness. In addition, if you identify as LGBTQ you may have to worry about violence and discrimination. Often times in the fitness industry there are complex layers of discrimination, unhealthy expectations and societal pressure, and insensitive/anti-LGBTQ policies preventing many people from accessing these spaces.
Unfortunately, Amplio has been shut down since March because we are deemed non-essential and it does not appear that we will be able to open for many more months. As a small business, I have not been able to accrue enough capital to endure the unpredictable times that we are in. We were just starting to break even and be able to pay myself and the other trainer when the pandemic hit. I will lose my business, my dream, and this beautiful space that I have spent so much time creating. Our bills (such as rent) will not stop; relief/accommodations are not being extended to me (both business and personal). I’m asking for donations to help keep Amplio afloat until the quarantine ends and our clients can come back to us.
Money that is raised will go to operating costs (rent, utilities, continuing education/recertification for trainers, payroll for myself and the other trainer) and other various bills.
