<div>## **Help Shaun Nelson’s Family Rebuild After a Devastating Apartment Fire in Dorchester**

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>### ❤️ **Short Summary (Appears at the Top of the Page)**

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is **Shaun Nelson**, and I’m raising funds to help my children and our family recover after a devastating fire destroyed their apartment on Becket Street in **Dorchester, Massachusetts**. We’re incredibly thankful that everyone made it out safely, but the fire consumed nearly everything they owned. We’re now focused on rebuilding their lives from the ashes — finding stable housing, replacing essentials, and helping them heal from the trauma of this tragedy.

<div>##  **Our Story**

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In what felt like just another ordinary day, life changed in an instant. A sudden fire broke out in my kids’ apartment building in **Dorchester**, quickly spreading through their home. The smoke was thick, the heat unbearable, and within moments, everything was lost.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>By the grace of God, my children made it out alive. They were treated for smoke inhalation, but physically safe — something I will forever be grateful for. Still, the aftermath was devastating: their rooms, belongings, and memories all destroyed.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Walking through what’s left of their home — walls blackened, furniture charred, personal items melted beyond recognition — was heartbreaking.

</div>

<div>##  **What Was Lost**

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The fire left nothing untouched. My kids lost:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>* All of their **clothes, shoes, and school supplies**

</div>

<div>* Their **furniture, electronics, and personal keepsakes**

</div>

<div>* A sense of comfort and security that no child should lose

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Right now, we’re focused on finding them stability — safe housing, daily essentials, and emotional support as they try to recover from the shock and disruption of losing their home.

</div>

<div>* **Furniture and household necessities**

</div>

<div>* **Food and transportation** while they get resettled

<div>Every contribution — no matter the size — makes a direct impact in helping my family rebuild their lives.

</div>

<div>## ️ **From My Heart**

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As a father, seeing my kids go through something like this is the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. Yet, I’m choosing faith and gratitude — because they are still here, and with the support of our community, we can rebuild what was lost.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed, or offered support. Your kindness helps turn devastation into hope.
