Help my grandma come back home!

My name is Sheyla Sandoval, and I have set up this fundraiser for my grandma Magda Lopez. On February 25th, 2020 my grandma was preparing for her yearly visit to her home country, Nicaragua. A few weeks after arrival in Nicaragua, the whole Coronavirus ordeal began. Unfortunately, all routine commercial air service between Nicaragua and the United States is suspended until at least June 21, and the land borders with Costa Rica and Honduras remain closed to non-commercial traffic.

Current official COVID-19 reporting by the Nicaragua Ministry of Health includes 1,118 confirmed cases (with 46 resulting in death), though independent sources estimate the number of cases to be significantly higher. My grandma is 73 years old and is at high risk of containing the virus. Since she is in Nicaragua she has to run her errands on her own and usage of masks isn't as strict as it is here in the US. If she was home she wouldn't need to be going out as much as she currently is in Nicaragua, therefore making it a priority to have her back home.

My grandma suffers from high blood pressure and anxiety which is leading to severe depression. After living in San Francisco for over 30 years, being in a different country can be overwhelming especially when you are in financial need and don't feel at home. She lost her childhood friend due to COVID-19 about two weeks ago which is making it even more hard and stressful for her to be in Nicaragua. 

Luckily, we were able to apply through the government for a flight. However, the cost is $1,200. And to specify this flight is only from Nicaragua to Miami. We will need to purchase TWO tickets in total to have her come home safe and sound. This flight is currently under review by the government.
