<div>I met Ruth online 3 years ago and since then she's been suffering through multiple corporate restructurings, cutting her hours and chances to escape her queer-unfriendly living situation. She is transgender and completely lacks a support circle or family willing to help, and bouncing between minimum-wage jobs due to ruthless employers isn't going to cut it.
</div>
<div>She is extremely distressed and needs as much help as she can get to move somewhere where she can find steady employment.
</div>
<div>We have both decided that a good alternative course of action is to gather generous donations that will allow her to get a work visa, a plane ticket to the UK, and a proper home and job.
</div>
<div>Ruth has already done as much as she can, but her pay is not adequate enough to allow her to work towards that goal as much as she used to.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We only ask for a little, anything helps, as long as it assists in reaching this goal. Ruth is doing as much as she can manage, so we're not asking for much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We will be forever grateful for your donations.
