Help my friend meet the Pope!

My best friend, Lesli, was invited to a school service trip of a life time!
As college students we often get a bad reputation for the kind of trips we make. This trip is different. In the beginning of the semester, Lesli, was invited to participate on a school trip to Rome throughout winter break where she will be taking a 3 credit course in theology (her minor). I have heard her talk about this trip since she was a freshman in college but would casually dismiss the opportunity by saying she didn't think she would be able to make it due to financial reasons. As of three months ago, she decided that she would do the best possible and work as much as she could to raise the $4,000 she needs to travel. I have seen her work 5 am shifts, volunteer at her local church and still maintain an outstanding GPA for this trip. When I spoke to her over the phone recently, we talked about how much her hard work has been paying off-saving $3,000. I am so proud of her hardworking and dedication and now she only needs $1,000 to reach the goal!! I know this may come off as somewhat of a stretch but the amount of work this girl puts into anything she does is truly admirable. For those that have had the blessing to work with her or even converse with her you know just how positive and how caring she is to all those around her. With the holidays around the corner, I thought about creating this gofund me to help this beautiful soul that I am blessed to call my friend reach her goal and make her dream (traveling to Rome and meeting the Pope) come to life. Will you help in making this trip possible for her?
