Help my Friend Keith avoid Eviction

Hi. My name is Sam. I am raising money to help my dear friend Keith (Brian) avoid eviction.

Despite big challenges in his life, including chronic health issues, Keith has built a good career in IT. However, he has been furloughed across multiple jobs because of covid. He has not received full unemployment benefits and the office has not provided him with any answers so far as to why.
Keith has been working tirelessly the past several months to get on his feet. Repeated setbacks have left him without money and behind on his rent by more than a month. His landlord threatens to evict him as soon as the eviction moratorium is lifted at the end of the year.

Keith is extremely motivated to find a job. He had interviews for three well-paying jobs just this week. He expects to start working again next week, but he likely won't get payed soon enough to avoid eviction. He is also working hard to obtain unemployment benefits and rent assistance from several sources; unfortunately, none have come through yet.

We are seeking $1,500 to cover one month of his overdue rent in the hopes that will be enough to establish good faith with his landlord and get him back on track. The money I collect will go straight to him, then straight to his rent.
