Hello, my name is Abel Mendoza and I currently need help raising funds to save my French bulldog, Rango, from a severe ear infection.

As of a couple of months ago, during the middle of the night, Rango was in a sign of distress, bumping into things, having shaky eyes, and had a loss of balance. We rushed him to the emergency vet, but the wait time was over 8 hours. So, we brought him to his regular vet later that morning, who diagnosed him with vestibular disease due to an ear infection and gave us medication to treat it.

Despite our best efforts and hundreds of dollars already spent on vet visits and medication, his condition hasn't improved. He now walks with a constant head tilt, doesn’t allow us to touch him, and can barely walk to get his food. His vet believes that the ear infection has gotten worse and recommended we take him to a specialty hospital for scans and that he most likely needs surgery to remove the ear infection in his inner ear.

The cost of scans, possible surgery, and follow-up care would cost roughly around $1,500 - $3,000.

Rango means everything to me and I don’t want to lose him. He is only 5 years old, about to turn 6 in July. He is still so young and has so much life left in him. Watching him suffer and not being able to help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through.
