HELP MY FAMILY REBUILD THEIR HOME- IN PHILIPPINES

Hi,

My name is Jane. I am from The Philippines. Currently I work and live in Ireland. I came here at 9 years old and have lived in this beautiful country for most of my life. From time to time I do miss home and hope to travel back home, not as often as i'd like, and visit family I have left behind.

The Philippines being in the third world is such a beautiful country with the warmest climate, grandest beaches, big cities and calm country sides. However, being on the ring of fire, the country is also prone to natural calamities such as earth quakes, tsunamis, typhoons etc. It is with a heavy heart that I am here to ask for your help. On December 15, 2021 Super Typhoon Rai or local name Odette brought torrential rains, violent winds, landfalls and storm surges in the southern parts of The Philippines. It is also where my family and I come from.

Phone towers and electricity has been damaged and my family has to take a 3 hour journey to receive relief aid and gather phone signal to contact us. At the moment they have no home and their life has been turned upside down by the Typhoon just a few days before Christmas. It breaks my heart.

I am asking for your kindness in helping my family in the Philippines to rebuild their homes, have a safe place for the New Year and provide the necessities ( food, clothes,toileteries).

I will post regularly with updates as soon as I make contact with them.
