<div>Severe rains in northern Veracruz, Mexico caused the Pantepec River to overflow, flooding my family’s home completely. The water reached the second floor, destroying everything they owned.

<div>In the house live my 92-year-old grandmother, my aunt and uncle, and my two cousins — five people who have lost all their belongings: furniture, appliances, clothes, medicines, and food supplies. Thankfully they are safe, but now face the hard task of starting again from nothing.

<div>This fundraiser aims to help them rebuild — to provide basic essentials like a safe place to sleep, clean clothes, food, and the items they need to restore their home and dignity.
