Help my family survive cancer

My wife was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in December 2016. Like many people we thought "oh breast cancer, at least that's treatable." After several months of chemotherapy, a bilateral mastectomy and lymph node removal, and radiation we thought we were in the clear. This fall we received the news that in fact it has spread to her bones. She is now metastatic. Terminal. Obviously her medical team is working feverishly to extend her life as long as possible but that comes at a cost. I am fortunate in that I have excellent insurance, the real cost however is in the ancillary. Escalating fuel expenses due to frequent doctor and hospital visits. Unplanned child care expenses. Lost time from work (I have already taken two weeks of unpaid time this month). We don't want to sound like we're begging and we realize that there are a thousand plus sad stories just like this on the internet; we are feeling desperate now and appreciate any help anyone is willing to give. We need the basics covered so we can focus on treatment and life extension. Thank you for your time.
