<div>Deep in my being, I wrestle with a torrent of emotions - apprehension, hesitation, and overwhelming guilt. But amidst this inner turmoil, an undeniable truth emerges: the urgent necessity of protecting my dear family. I am Hassan Abu Saleh, I live in Belgium, and I face an urgent challenge: getting my family out of Gaza through the Rafah crossing. This mission is not just an ordinary challenge; It is a looming nightmare, and requires huge costs beyond the means of the average person. Exiting through the Rafah crossing costs more than $5,000 per person, and sometimes more if we need to submit any required documents, not to mention various other expenses. In every war around the world, escape and survival are options, but unfortunately, in Gaza, the walls of the siege stand like prison walls, forcing everyone to face their fate in different ways. There is indiscriminate bombing that causes countless victims, there is oppression and fear that creep into our hearts at every moment, and there is hunger that devours our souls and dreams. So I can't wait to witness all this suffering inflicted on my family; May your support and assistance be a ray of hope in the genocide we are experiencing. Your donation will be spent saving lives, and time is not on our side; Every minute matters. How will this money be used? I am creating this donation fund to help my family leave Gaza. Costs of exiting Gaza: 1- Issuing passports for 11 members of my family. The cost for each person is about $100-120 = 11*110=$1210. 2- Payment to Hala Company: $5000 per person 18 years old and $2500 per person - 18 years old 7 people Adults *$5,000 = $35,000 6 Children *$2,500 = $15,000 Note: Sometimes they take more if it is an urgent case 3- Paying rent for 3 apartments for a year (3 families) The cost is about $600-800 (because the situation in Gaza even if it ends The war will take time to restore life there) 3 apartments * 12 months * $700 = $25,200 4- Costs of medical care for my father and the child (full), whose condition I mention in my story = about $300 per month = 12 * $300 = $3,600 5- Costs for me because I will travel Specifically for Egypt to pay the costs of the Hala company while staying there for at least a week = $1500-2000 6- The family costs to start a new life with the basic requirements (buying food and clothes,,,,) are about $500 per month and they are 3 families = 3*12 months*500 = $18,000 7- Because after the war, Gaza may not be livable; They may send their children to schools and it will cost money. 8- GofundMe fee = about $3000 I think. My family consists of my dear mother, Kariman, who suffers from chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes and is unable to bear these harsh conditions. My dear father, Akram, may God protect them, in addition to my two brothers, Muhammad, Nour, and Sondos, her children, and her husband, along with their families. Muhammad’s family*His wife Alaa*Children: The child, Akram, was born in the war, no more than three months old, and Lynn. Nour’s family:*His wife, Amal*Children: Moatasem and Muhammad, a child suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which is characterized by great difficulty concentrating on tasks , insomnia, and impulsivity. His academic performance and social interactions are greatly affected, which requires the support of doctors to enable treatment, in addition to the support of family and teachers to provide an appropriate environment and educational strategies to help him face the challenges of his condition. Muhammad works as an accountant in a company. But since the beginning of the war, no one dares to go to work because of the dangerous conditions. Nour was working in a communications exhibition, but it was destroyed in the war. Their children are ambitious individuals who deserve to live in peace, and given an opportunity to prove to the world that they are not just numbers. They were all displaced from their homes in Nuseirat after the building they were living in was bombed, and they miraculously survived, thanks to God. (Shown below)
