<div>Brought to the United States from Jamaica by my mother on a tourist visa at the age of 6, having never left the united state after my arrival. I have built my entire life on American soil. I have no knowledge of the country I was born as I left at such a young age. I was raised, went to school, have children in this country I call home. While whatever circumstances led to my mother not petitioning for me at a younger age. The U.S. has been my home for as long as I can remember. Having never returned to Jamaica since that tender age, my roots, culture, and future are deeply woven into the fabric of this country.
