Help my dog tubby’s surgery

Donation protected

[Update 02/25] I would like to thank you all for your continued support and well wishes for my dog Tubby. Today was Tubby's first follow up visit after the incident and I am glad to say Tubby is progressing well. Although he will have to wait another week to have his stitches removed we are grateful that he is improving a little everyday.

[Update 02/22]
I would like to start by thanking everyone who has donated to Tubby's GoFundMe page. Your generous donations will go toward Tubby's medical expenses with the remainder to be donated to the BCSPCA. I would also like to thank everyone one who has reached out to me during this difficult time to offer their well wishes for Tubby. Your generosity and kindness will not be forgotten and is very much appreciated in this difficult time. Tubby is doing well and is resting comfortably at home with his family, and we expect to have his stitches removed on February 28th. Due to the fact that Tubby is a senior dog with an underlying chronic heart problem, the vet advised that the road to recovery will be a difficult one. With this in mind, we continue to remain optimistic and hope for a positive outcome, even if this does mean months of follow up visits. All we want is for Tubby's life, and ours to go back to normal just as it was before the incident. Thank you all for your continued support and we will continue to keep you updated on Tubby's progress.

[Posted 02/17] I’m Mancy and I’m the dog owner of Tubby the grey maltipoo. Today I was walking my dog in a doggie park where there was 2 white poodle and 3 huskies. Tubby was playing with the 2 white poodles but then was attacked by 2 huskies and the owner said he’s not responsible since it’s a off leash park where dogs plays in. The police is currently looking for the owner of the 2 huskies who bit my dog.. my dog right now needs stitches and surgery since the 2 huskies were really aggressive and held him at least 1 feet off the air .. one biting neck and one biting the back and wouldn’t let my dog go till the owner told them to.. I couldn’t do a single thing to save my dog at that moment.. I don’t know what kind of dog owner would run off after their dog has made the attack. As a responsible owner he should confess to his own action. I do not want to see anyone undergo through this experience ever again. I hope that I am the last and only victim from his dogs attacks. His dogs left two bite marks on my dog.. one of the bite could of been life threatening at his neck because it’s the deepest mark. The doctor said his neck might need recurring surgery because his tissue is damaged by the severity bite mark.

Neck bite marks.
Back bite marks.

My dog after surgery..

Here’s the guy that ran away with his dogs Him not caring about my dog and just fleeing the scene before the police comes.. I couldn’t go after him cause my dog needed care from hospital ASAP. If you guys know him please let us know so we can report him to the police..
please help support my lovely dog.. to get over this traumatizing day.. no dogs and owners of pets should have to go through what we’re going through.. thank you for all the support

Any witnesses please come forward. If you know anyone who saw the incident please contact Seabook Ng, SPCA Animal Control Officer [phone redacted]. Or email SNG@ spca.bc.ca.
