Help my dog Samson beat cancer ❤️

Hi. My name is SeAnn, and I live in Burien, Washington with my 9 year old yellow Labrador Samson. Many of you in the greater Seattle canine community know Samson from the Westcrest dog park in west Seattle. He is an energetic and loving dog that loves the outdoors, other dogs, chasing squirrels, hiking in the woods, other dogs, but most importantly...... Me.
He is my best friend, gives unconditional love and is my everything. He means the world to me!
In mid September, Samson was suffering from what we
thought was kennel cough. I kept him in and did what the doctor's told me to do. But by the end of September, we realized that there was something much worse going on. After a full night of labored breathing, I took him in to the emergency vet clinic. They performed some tests and tapped his lung for a liter of fluid. It was that night that I found out that Samson had a large tumor inside his rib cage. I was devestated.
We took him to the Oncologist, and the treatment plan was laid out. My beautiful Samson would have to have surgery to remove the tumor, and then some chemo and maybe radiation treatments.
Friends who know me, know that I would do anything for Samson, whatever the cost....and I have, to the tune of around $11,000 so far. I never thought of the money as an obstacle. I would gladly pay 1000 times over. At times, I didn't know I was doing the right thing, but I had to go with my heart.
Friends and family, thank you for your healing thoughts and well wishes Thanks also goes out to the incredible skill of the staff at Blue Pearl Vetrinary Medicine especially Samson's surgeon Dr. Jennifer Reagan. Samson went through 4 hrs of surgery to excise the tumor on October 11th. They had to remove 4 ribs and 2 lymph nodes in the process.
I am so blessed to say that today, October 15th, Samson came home from surgery! They were able to take the tumor out, and Samson is feeling better. He can breathe comfortably and for me, that is peace of mind.
Samson is my life and world. And any pet owner knows what I am talking about. So now, by choice, I have to take account of the the bill that has accumulated for the surgery, as well as the cost of the post operative chemo and radiation that will ensure that he continues to have a healthy life, and that the cancer will not return. The doctor is happy of his recovery thus far, and I am so thankful for that.
His pre-op costs were $3000 with all the diagnostic tests and imagery, including the 2 emergency taps of his chest so he could breathe while awaiting surgery. The surgery itself was $7500. We still have no idea how much the chemo and/or radiation will cost.
I told you I would do anything for my dog, and I have and will continue to do so. But the bill is more than I can handle. Beautiful friends and family, I am hoping for some support for Samson through his chemo and radiation therapy that is coming up to make sure that that the cancer does not come back and gives him quality of life. I have managed to somehow afford the diagnostics and surgery with taking out credit, so we could use your help in financing this as well as future procedures that he will need.
I am a teacher who lives on a modest salary. I am not rich, but not poor. This request is not because I have to, but because I want to. I want to give you all an opportunity to join in the joy of helping Samson, my pride and joy...... I know that the canine community and friends and family understand what I am saying. So I am asking you all to please donate to the cost of treatment for my Samson. It has been a financial stress, but make no mistake...... I would pay every penny myself gladly because Samson is that awesome and amazing, and he came out of surgery like a champ.
