Hello my name is Destinie I'm 25 years old and the only child of my father. I'm asking humbly for help on my father's behalf- A loving, Strong, Family man who is now facing the fight of his life.

My father Eugene is only 48 years old his 49th birthday will be August 4th. My father is still young however he's facing multiple health issues. My father is a legally blind, Stage 4 kidney disease, dialysis patient and after a recent fall on his neck, doctors discovered my father has a severe spinal hernia. It's crushing his spinal nerve and affecting his mobility, motor skills and bowel control. Alongside with his health conditions my father is out of work due to his disabilities and facing financial hardships with SSDI, and Mortgage.

Without emergency spinal surgery, doctors warned us he'll likely only be mobile 6-12 months before being bed bound or paralyzed- Permanently.

My father is the kind of man who always took care of his family and always gave wisdom. I remember his most famous words, "I got this" but at this moment both him nor I actually do and he's suffering trying to remain strong.

My father needs this spinal decompression surgery to prevent full paralysis. This procedure comes with risk - especially as a dialysis patient but without it there's no future. If successfully done my father would still need a walker and months of intense physical therapy but he could live independently again. I strongly believe with the rehab and support he'll walk again.

I'm humbly asking for help. I'm only 25 years old and life has hit me so hard and I'm trying to hold it together, while trying to build my own life and still 'figure it all out'. I've cried, begged, prayed to God, but now I need help. I'm building this so my father doesn't face losing his home that he's lived in for 20+ years, I want to be there for my father the same way he's been there for me.
