On 4-19-25 around 8:30 pm, I received a phone call from my fiancé telling me my father’s apartment burned down. He and his dog are okay, but he’s lost his apartment, along with pretty much everything that he owns.

He was able to make it out, but with nothing more than his dog, wallet, keys, and the clothes on his back.

I’m starting this GoFundMe for him in hopes that I can get him some help in terms of clothes, food, and possibly a down payment on a new place and maybe some money for a new bed. As I said, he’s pretty much lost everything he owned, and I don’t believe he had any kind of renter’s insurance, so it’s pretty much going to be starting from scratch for him. We were totally unprepared for something like this.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to give in his time of need. Any little bit at all that you would be willing, or able to give, helps. At the end of the day, I’m just grateful that he’s okay, but I’m hoping that with your help, I can help him get back on his feet any way that I can.
