<div>On October, 9th 2025, my dad, Thurman, lost his home in a devastating fire here in Destin, FL. Thankfully, he is safe, but the fire destroyed nearly everything he owned.

<div>My dad has worked at The Home Depot in Destin for 15 years, where he’s known for always lending a helping hand. Over the years, he’s helped several local contractors and neighbors with all kinds of work — yard work, moving, small repairs, and any odd jobs people needed done. That’s just the kind of person he is — always willing to help others without hesitation.
