Help My Dad Oscar Recalde Through Stage IV Cancer

In 2017, my father Oscar Recalde was wrongfully deported to Peru and separated from his family after already spending a year locked up at the questionable Krome Detention Center in Miami, known for abusing detainees. We desperately tried to cease his deportation, but to no avail. The courts requests came to a ludicrous climax, requiring photographic evidence within the first 8 years of our lives alongside our father, with DNA testing also required within a week, to prove he was our father, besides the other photographs, birth certificates, and other documents we already submitted.  The deadline was absolutely impossible to meet, and in spite of courts knowing this, they proceeded with his case and subsequent deportation.

He had lived here nearly 30 years, sacrificing everything to come to this country to live the American Dream. He raised a loving family with wife Joith Recalde, and undoubtedly provided all of us with a better future.

Shortly after arriving in Peru, he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare cancer of the plasma cells. 

My family has endured years of unnecessary emotional hardship, besides great financial loss. Now we must endure one more hardship as he battles cancer without us by his side 24/7 as we should be.
