Help my dad in recovery from open heart surgery

Hello friends and family
My dad Just had quadruple bypass open heart surgery less than a month ago. If he had not had gone to the hospital at the very time he did I would have lost him. I know my father is feeling a strange dichotomy of blessed and stressed. Though he did avoid death by the grace of the universe, he is left strong of mind and weak a body. He has been my rock for my whole life through thick and thin.  The last couple years have been stressful already, and then his mom, my Grandma, passed away in February.  We have been able to pull through and I am grateful that he is still here with me.
  I feel strongly and see clearly that in this time where my dad cannot work for at least 3 months nor hardly get around, I can attempt to pay him back in some small part that indescribable help and love he showed me raising me and standing by me.  I am doing what I can to help around the house and take care of things.  But there are still financial issues.  Since he can’t work, or drive or even lift anything for a few months during his after surgery recovery our family is reaching out to folks asking for help with rent, food, and transportation costs.  Luckily my dad has work to return to when he healed up, but until then he has no income.   We know we will be alright and are keeping a positive healing attitude up.  Anyone that can contribute to our caring and my dad’s healing is greatly appreciated!
