Help my dad (53) get cancer treatment

Hey everyone,

We are Romy, Kiki and Liesbeth and our father / husband is very sick. Last year he fought off cancer, diffuse large b-cell lymphoma stage 4. He was declared clean last November. We were so proud since he had 40% survival chance and he fought so hard during the intense 8 R-CHOP chemo treatments.
 Now the cancer has returned, and the outlook is poor. Our dad is such a kind hearted man who always helps where he can and he was very healthy and fit. I know no one in the world deserves anything like this... but he surely does not. He has always put us first. He was also writing his book and we really hope he can finish it. He loves formula 1 (Verstappen!) and works as a team manager at the Ambulance.
Now for his cancer type in relapse there is a new treatment available, but it is expensive and still on trial in small scale in the Netherlands, where we are from. In this treatment T-cells are taken from his body and genetically altered in the US and then placed back into his body. These cells can then effectively fight off the cancer cells. It is called CAR T-cell therapy and it is very new, especially in Europe. In the United States however, treatment is possible, But we must pay for this ourselves.
To make the treatment happen, we need to raise the money within a very short period of time want to ask you to please help u I so desperately want my dad around for longer. With the money we can get to the US and get the treatment. 
Also, cliché but really, call your parent(s) / sibling(s) to tell them you love them. Please forget about small issues you may have with them, these are not important enough to waste time.

Wij zijn Liesbeth, Romy en Kiki en onze man en vader, Henk, is ernstig ziek. Hij heeft vorig jaar Non-Hodgkin grootcellig B-lymfoom (lymfeklierkanker) overwonnen. Na heel hard vechten en 8 R-CHOP chemokuren werd hij in november 2018 kanker vrij verklaard. Nu, nog geen half jaar later, is het weer terug. Doordat het een terugval is binnen zo’n korte tijd, ziet het er somber uit. We willen zo graag dat hij bij ons blijft. Het is zo’n lieve vader, man, collega, vriend, broer, zoon.. Hij was bezig met het schrijven van zijn boek, en we hopen dat hij het afschrijft. Daarnaast is hij groot formule 1 fan (Verstappen!) en werkt hij als teamleider bij Ambulance Oost. 
Er is een medische trial bezig in onder andere het universitaire ziekenhuis in Groningen, maar hiervoor moet hij worden ingeloot. In de Verenigde Staten is deze behandeling veel gebruikelijker en kunnen we, mits we het bedrag kunnen betalen, geholpen worden. 
De behandeling houdt in dat de T-cellen uit mijn vaders bloed worden gehaald, genetisch worden gemanipuleerd en teruggeplaatst. De T-cellen kunnen nu de kanker aanvallen. Bij veel patiënten sloeg het aan en krompen of verdwenen de tumoren. Als u hier meer informatie over wilt opzoeken kunt u zoeken naar CAR-T Therapy.
