<div>I never thought I would have to write something like this. My brother, my first friend, my protector, the person who has always been there for me, is facing something I can’t fix, and it breaks me to even put these words into writing. What started as a small lump in his neck, something we barely thought twice about, quickly turned into the diagnosis that shattered our world: Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

<div>He had no symptoms. No signs. No warnings. One day we were living life normally, and the next, we were sitting in a doctor’s office hearing the word “cancer” tied to someone we love more than anything. It still doesn’t feel real.

<div>My brother is a husband and a father of  beautiful children who adore him. He is their superhero, the one who fixes everything, who works tirelessly, who makes them feel safe. And now he has to step into the hardest fight of his life, beginning six months of chemotherapy that will test his body and spirit in ways none of us ever imagined.

<div>Watching someone you love go through this kind of fear and uncertainty changes you. As his sister, all I want to do is shield him, to take the weight off his shoulders, to make this nightmare easier. But the truth is, cancer brings more than emotional pain, it brings bills, time away from work, medications, appointments, and pressures no family should have to face alone.

<div>My brother would never ask for help. He is proud, hardworking, and always the one taking care of everyone else. But this time, he needs support and I am asking on his behalf, with all the love in me.
