My brother has always been a hard worker, doing everything he could to support his family despite a difficult childhood spent in poverty, group homes, and foster care. Two years ago, he suffered a serious injury at work that required back surgery. Tragically, the surgery went terribly wrong, leaving him unable to work and in constant pain. Since then, he has been waiting for disability approval and for a hearing to receive lifetime medical benefits through workers compensation, all while trying to care for his autistic son.
On top of his back injury, my brother is struggling with severe dental issues. He has no dental insurance, and the cost of having his teeth pulled and getting an implant is overwhelming. Our family has been helping as much as we can, but after two years, the financial and emotional burden has become too much for us to carry alone. The funds raised here will go first toward his urgent dental procedures, and also help with food and basic needs for his son.
We are reaching out to ask for help from anyone who feels moved to support my brother during this incredibly tough time. My hope is that he will feel the love and care of others, and know how much God loves him through the generosity of people he may never meet. Thank you for considering a donation, and blessings to all who help carry this burden with us. – Sara
